What to do if you’re arrested
Protest Justice exists to support and help you make a complaint about mistreatment at the hands of the authorities. If you have been wrongly arrested and charged you will no doubt be in touch with a solicitor. In this instance please still record the basic details on an Incident Report as this will help us form a bigger picture of what happened at the protest you attended.
If you wish to make a complaint to the police about their behaviour let us know and we can help you through that process.
NB: We are NOT a legal organisation (although we do have great legal contacts and support), you will still need to find your own solicitor.
